A Favorite Alternative to the Gallery Wall

Spawning off of the more common idea of the gallery wall, we love the concept of creating a collection of art from a single picture, graphic or painting that’s been divided into parts.

When multiple images compose a greater whole, a lot of times, meaning can be found in both its sum and individual pieces. There’s something left to be appreciated about that.

This image from architectural and interior designer, Ben Pentreath’s London Flat shows a massive map that’s been divided into 24 individual pieces and is showcased on a rear wall. We love not only the application but the scale of the artwork.
